    To support the exposure of various opportunities within STEAM career fields. Workshops offered for both teens and parents. Teen workshops focus on exposure to various STEAM fields, educational & exciting hands-on activities, and provide an opportunity for one-on-one conversations with leading experts in the fields. Parent workshops focus on tools in preparing their child for college or technology-based training.

    To support equipping at-risk girls with laptops and digital skills to bridge the education gap. Programs include laptops and calculators that are given to the girls, along with classes that teach technology literacy skills.

This is a unique communication tool to support and facilitate community among families on a medical journey with their children.

    To facilitate shared reading time and access to books, helping students become excited, confident readers prepared for learning and success.

    To support the Tech Zoomers program at the Redmond Senior Center, a technology support program for helping older adults with technology challenges, training, and a program that ultimately combats social isolation by connecting older adults with each other and their loved ones through the use of technology.

    To establish a program for students to build BMX bikes and create GPS mapping for community greenways in Gallatin and Hendersonville; the bikes will be donated to students in need.

    To expand arts programming to third-grade special education students to enhance skills in English, math, science and technology.

    To utilize STEM in a seeds-to-table teaching approach for K-12 students, encouraging healthy eating habits through gardening and cooking classes.

    To create curriculum-based education programs that integrate history and STEM, to be presented at three of Tennessee’s historic sites: Cragfont, Wynnewood and Hawthorn Hill.

    To create an accessible, STEAM-based community makerspace offering educational activities and cultural enrichment opportunities.

Texas – Fort Worth Data Center

    To connect at-risk youth with adult volunteer mentors online and in person in a reading program model that will enhance students’ reading ability while also building strong and enduring mentoring relationships

  • Camp Fire First Texas

    To provide STEAM-focused learning in Camp Fire out-of-school programs, grades Pre-K-12 to 850 students, including coding, robotics, engineering and physical science, to “STEAMulate” Camp Fire students with college readiness skills and exposure to STEAM careers.

  • Fort Worth Botanic Garden

    To continue and build upon two, weeklong environmental STEM summer camps that bring students to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and provide nature experiences, career connections, social-emotional skill building, and hands-on learning to children from under-resourced neighborhoods in Fort Worth.

    To expand the Full STEAM Ahead program to include after-school robotics and engineering programs incorporating 21st century skills.

    To support the purchase of three BEAM Pro interactive floor projectors, an innovative projector gaming console that turns walls, floors and tables into interactive learning experiences.

    To provide I.M. Terrell engineering students with funding to field and properly equip up to five VEX Robotics and two Drone teams in the upcoming school year, thus providing equitable access to technology.
