Hello, Jeffersonville!

Meta is excited to announce that it is joining the Jeffersonville community! This will be the home of our newest Meta data center — our 18th data center in the U.S. and 22nd in the world. This nearly 700,000-square-foot campus will be part of the global infrastructure that helps bring Meta Technologies and services to life. Once completed, the Jeffersonville Data Center will represent an investment of more than $800 million and support approximately 100 jobs.

Indiana, and Jeffersonville in particular, stood out as an outstanding location to call home for a number of reasons — it provides good access to infrastructure and renewable energy, it has a strong pool of talent, and we have found a great set of community partners that have helped us move this project forward. Meta is proud to be a new member of Jeffersonville and committed to investing in the long-term vitality of the community.

Meta designs and builds its data centers with efficiency, flexibility and sustainability in mind. Once operational, the Jeffersonville Data Center will be supported by 100% renewable energy through our investments in new renewable energy projects and like our other data centers, will achieve LEED Gold certification.

Meta anticipates that more than 1,250 construction workers will be onsite at the peak of construction. Job opportunities for the data center will be available at Meta Careers in a few weeks. Construction information is available at the Turner Construction Company website.
