Partnering with Ohio
We are committed to supporting the community through sourcing labor and materials locally where we can, volunteering, partnering with local chambers, and supporting local schools, nonprofits and community projects.
Supporting local schools and nonprofits
We support the community through our annual Data Center Community Action Grants program and other direct funding for projects that put the power of technology to use for community benefit, give people the power to build strong, sustainable communities, and improve science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education.
Prioritizing sustainability
Meta approaches sustainability from the ground up — from design and construction to operations — by prioritizing energy efficiency, water stewardship and responsibly managing the end of life of our equipment. Our operational data center buildings achieve LEED® Gold certification by focusing on efficiency, sustainability and innovation. We worked with multiple partners to meet our 100% clean and renewable energy goal for the New Albany Data Center. This includes supporting two new renewable energy projects in Ohio.
Small business training program
The New Albany Data Center partners with local organizations to deliver training programs and certifications that can help you get the most out of Meta technologies. Through free trainings, events, resources and more, we help small businesses and nonprofits grow their reach.

Working at a data center
We’re building Al experiences for everyone, and to do that we need to have cutting-edge infrastructure — the backbone of our technologies. You’ll ensure the safety, security and reliability of the architectures that create seamless experiences, while building scalable systems and optimizing performance in this fast-moving environment.
