2025 Meta data center community support — Year in review

Strengthening Communities

Throughout 2025, Meta advanced the work of thousands of schools, nonprofit organizations and small businesses in our data center communities through direct funding and our community programs. Meta is proud to have supported 30 data center communities across the United States, Europe and Asia in 2025:

The significance of our data centers is much more than what is felt online. That’s why we want to make sure we are creating a positive impact at the local level. We partner with local schools and organizations on programs and resources that help build skills and increase the use of technology, because our mission is to build the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible.

Louisiana – United States

Richland Parish Data Center

Our Richland Parish Data Center in Louisiana is supporting the Richland Revitalization Board with a donation to fund improvements to regional public parks and community projects. This contribution will enable new infrastructure initiatives, enhancing local parks and recreation centers and expanding opportunities for community development and engagement.

Ohio – United States

New Albany Data Center

Our data center in New Albany, Ohio, partnered with The Ohio State University to support the creation of the Meta STEM Instruction Innovation Hub. This 3,800-plus-square-foot, technology-rich classroom will serve over 16,000 STEM students annually across Ohio, once opened to all STEM majors, providing a collaborative, hands-on learning environment designed to boost retention and success in STEM professions.

Texas – United States

Temple Data Center

In 2025, we partnered with Temple College in Central Texas to launch the Meta AI Computer Lab and Innovation High Bay, supporting advanced STEM education and workforce development. This initiative builds on our previous collaboration for the Mobile STEM Lab, further strengthening our commitment to local innovation.

Through this program, Temple College will offer state-of-the-art facilities for AI and robotics, benefiting students, veterans, workforce trainees, local businesses and educators. The labs will provide hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and robotics, promote STEM career pathways and help train workers for the future. By supporting these efforts, Meta is helping to enhance community expertise in AI, foster economic growth and create new opportunities for the Temple region.

Wyoming – United States

Cheyenne Data Center

Meta has been proud to invest in the Laramie County community. The Cheyenne Data Center is supporting the launch of the Laramie County Trades Academy, a new program opening doors for local high school students to explore rewarding careers in the skilled trades. Through a Meta grant and collaboration with local industry leaders and educators, the Trades Academy provides students with industry-led training and certifications in high-demand fields such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, fiber optics, heavy machinery, construction and more — helping empower the next generation of Wyoming workers and strengthening career pathways.

Indiana – United States

Jeffersonville Data Center

In 2025, we partnered with Maker13 and Youth Link to support STEAM initiatives for local students in Jeffersonville, including the deployment of STEAM carts, LEGO Spike Kits and VEX Robotics at 14 public school sites. This collaboration will reach over 3,500 students annually, providing hands-on learning opportunities both during school hours and in after-school programs.

By bringing together local organizations and educators, this program delivers innovative STEAM-focused experiences, professional development for teachers, and engaging activities such as field trips and camps. The initiative enhances educational outcomes, helping to foster a vibrant and future-ready workforce in Southern Indiana.

Singapore

Singapore Data Center

Our Singapore Data Center was proud to support the Sustainable Living Lab in developing a cross-border Youth Climate Tech program. The program engaged over 900 students who are contributing tech projects that address climate challenges in Singapore, India and Indonesia. With the help of sustainability nonprofits, the students learned to use AI tools — including Meta AI — to address problem statements related to air pollution, extreme heat, flooding and renewables.
