Today, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our Odense Data Center by nearly 30,000 square meters. Construction is starting now, and we anticipate the expansion will employ approximately 900 construction workers at peak. Once completed, this campus will represent an investment of more than 10B DKK.

The first phase of the data center has been completed and is now fully online. Our data centers, including the Odense Data Center, are some of the most efficient data center facilities in the world. As of April, the data center reached LEED Gold certification. During the construction of the first phase, we recycled 99.8% of all of our construction waste.

This expansion will also grow our heat recovery partnership with Fjernvarme Fyn, which began delivering heat to the community this year. The expansion will grow the heat recovery infrastructure and capacity and, once completed, lead to the recovery of a total 165,000 MWh of energy per year, enough to warm 11,000 homes.

Odense has been a great home for our data center, and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership with the local community.
