Our Data Center Community Action Grants are one of many ways that Meta gives back to communities where we have an operational data center. These grants are available to projects that do one or more of the following:

    To support New Albany Neighborhood Bridges to purchase 34 TI-84 Plus graphing calculators for low-income middle school students in the NA food pantry program.

    To support New Albany-Plain Local Schools and the creation of Maker Boxes for students in grades 1-3, a rocketry program for HS students, an incubator lab that brings biology to life, and a microscope lab to help middle school students understand the world under a lens.

    To support The Works and their Girls STEAM Ahead event, which is aimed at connecting girls in grades 9-12 with past, present and future women in STEAM.

    To support STEAM-focused learning in Camp Fire out-of-school programs, grades pre-K through 12, for at least 760 students in 2023. The hands-on activities explore coding, robotics, engineering and physical science, and “STEAMulate” Camp Fire students with college readiness skills and exposure to STEAM careers.
